By using sawhorsecalc.com you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple: free calculators and guides for home and garden projects, with nothing to sign up for or buy.

Estimates, not advice

Every calculator gives an estimate for planning and buying materials. Results depend on the sizes and figures you enter, and some starting figures, such as material weights, bag sizes and prices, are typical values that will differ from your supplier's. Check quantities and prices with your supplier before you order.

Nothing on the site is professional, engineering, legal or financial advice. For anything structural, such as decks, retaining walls, footings or load-bearing walls, or anywhere permits and building codes apply, follow local code and ask a qualified professional.

Accuracy

We test the calculators' maths and check the guides, but we cannot promise that every page is free of errors or right for every situation. If you find a mistake, please tell us at hello@sawhorsecalc.com with the calculator and the numbers you used, and we will look into it.

Using the site

• You may use the calculators and read the guides for your own projects and for work you do for customers.
• You may link to any page. Please do not copy whole pages or the calculators onto another website.
